Executive Summary

We have successfully completed a series of three community events in Colombia and Venezuela to promote awareness, adoption, and engagement with the Soneium and Astar Network ecosystems. These meetups were held in strategic cities with high crypto adoption: Medellín, Bogotá, and Valencia, successfully forming solid local communities and generating significant on-chain participation.

Proposed Objectives

The main goal of this initiative was to organize and execute a series of community meetups in Colombia and Venezuela to:

• Promote awareness and adoption of the Soneium and Astar ecosystems
• Educate local communities about blockchain technology
• Address common questions about Soneium
• Establish a strong regional presence for these blockchain protocols

As a cross-cutting solution, we proposed the execution of 3 community meetups in two important Latin American countries known for their crypto adoption. In these meetups, our main objectives were:

1. Expand the message of the official launch of Soneium
2. Address and solve all existing questions
3. Form a solid community of Astar and Soneium in these two countries

Promised Deliverables

1. Three community meetups:

   • 1 meetup in Medellín, Colombia’s second main city with huge crypto adoption and exponential growth in technology
   • 1 meetup in Bogotá, Colombia’s capital with a large number of universities and important companies
   • 1 meetup in Valencia, Venezuela’s second main city with a big Web3 community, in a country with HUGE crypto adoption due to its economic challenges

2. Creation of local Soneium communities: As a collective enthusiastic about the technology and philosophy of Soneium and Astar, we committed to creating the first local communities around these protocols in the countries where we held meetups

3. On-chain data generation: We promoted on-chain participation within the Soneium protocol to validate our work

4. Promotion of $ASTR token utility: We motivated users to obtain $ASTR and start making transactions with the main token

Achieved Metrics

1. More than 110 registrations in our Luma events:

   • Bogotá
   • Medellín
   • Valencia

2. More than 9 hours of educational content (each talk lasting 3 hours)

3. 1 Minting platform for user onboarding: Soneium Ticker

4. 3 NFT collections created on the Soneium network in OpenSea:

   • Bogota collection
   • Medellín collection
   • Valencia collection

5. More than 100 NFTs minted by attendees and logistics team: OpenSea Collection

6. 3 new stakers in Astar dApp Staking on the Soneium network using Neemo Finance:

   • Staker in Bogotá →
     
     
   • Staker in Medellín →
   • Staker in Valencia →
     
     

7. 120 t-shirts distributed among attendees

8. +150 promotional stickers distributed among attendees

Conclusion

With these results, we successfully conclude the tour of 3 Astar Network & Soneium events in Colombia and Venezuela. We have established a solid foundation for the continued growth of these communities in the region, promoting education, participation, and adoption of blockchain technology.

We thank all participants, collaborators, and the Astar Network and Soneium team for making this successful initiative possible.
