@Zorounashi
I understand what you are saying, but simply denying it will not get things done.
You need concrete suggestions for improvement or reworking.
To me, it sounds like you are suggesting that dApp Staking itself should be stopped and replaced with a different form. If you can make a concrete proposal, you should create another thread to discuss it.
But remember, as @tksarah says, that this will take a very long time, so a short term solution is also needed.
I tell you more, if it has to work like this, I hope that all the money given to these self-styled developers is given to the first crypto influencer on duty… surely the ecosystem would benefit more. Having seen the post above I read more about what happened here to the SFY team. Well it confirms what I thought and wrote here. there is clearly a group of people who “manage” things here, the lack of controls for their dapps and the intolerance instead shown for those who asked for meritocracy and justice are exactly the answer that a person with personal interests would give.
I understand that my answer is exaggerated, but almost two years of waste is an exaggeration. If dapp staking is to remain, there must be control. Ambassadors are handsomely paid, and if not them, pay others, remove 5% of the funds from total dapp staking to give people without dual roles the ability to control the milestones of the various teams! It’s not difficult, no one here says that it must be the core team’s job.
Yes, I believe that in order to keep dApp Staking, it needs to be managed. And it needs to be served by someone other than a specific dApps stakeholder.
I recognize that this is why we have a proposal like the DAO Collective, but it is also desirable that it be community driven, as this proposal is. I am fine with the form in which it can be done.
It would be easier to pay rewards if they were grouped together as an organization like the DAO Collective, as it would be easier to evaluate and monitor.
The NEET team has told us that they would like to leverage the VeryLongSwap community and Codebase assets to expand DEX into the Soneium chain.
In my opinion, I see the following appeal in this proposal
1, By developing DEX with the Neet team, we can take advantage of the code that
2, VLS has Contribution to the Soneium ecosystem
3, We can offer rewards from the Neet project to the community that has accumulated points through the VeryLongSwap.
There may be no precedent fo this type of team transfer, so we may need to discuss whether this is OK for Astar.
However, I hope that I can contribute to the further development of the Astar ecosystem by taking a positive view of this proposal.
We want to share an important update with you. I would not suggest to delist the dapp as we are actively collaborating with Hayatti to resume development on the DEX for Soneium and Astar, ensuring the continuation of the original vision.
This progress will also bring valuable benefits to VLS stakers, including:
• A percentage share of dApp staking rewards.
• Access to private liquidity pools (LP).
• Exclusive merchandise and NFTs.
We appreciate your patience and support as we work to bring this project to its full potential. Exciting times lie ahead, and we’re committed to building a strong future together!
Thanks for the tag in this thread @you425.
Many Astar community members already reached out to us with their concerns related to VLS.
Thanks a lot for sharing these latest updates
Are you only working together with Hayatti on this collaboration? In the dApp Staking profile we also see Takakoji as developer added: x.com, is he also involved in the current development?
Who is currently the owner of the wallet used by VLS?
17 days ago around 80k ASTR have been transferred to CEX: Subscan | Astar Account Details
Seems not much went to the current VLS stakers, how will this move forward? Would be great to learn more. At the same time, I believe patience should be given to your project. Think others have higher priority.
Looking forward towards the future of VLS, NEET and how they will bring value to all ASTR holders.
Thank you for your questions about the VLS project. We’d like to provide some clarifications:
Currently, only Hayatti is actively involved in the project. We are no longer working with Takakoji and we are going to update the dApp staking profile accordingly.
While the wallet is currently managed by Hayatti, we are in the process of setting up a shared wallet for future development funds. To ensure transparency, we will maintain a Google Sheet to log all transactions.
80k ASTR Token Transfer: The transfer of approximately 80,000 ASTR tokens to a centralized exchange about 17 days ago occurred before our collaboration with Hayatti began.
We acknowledge the delays and appreciate your patience. We are actively developing VLS under the NEET brand to contribute meaningfully to the Astar ecosystem.
We will be allocating a percentage of VLS tokens to those who have staked at the end of the season. This is our way of thanking you for your continued support.
Thank you for your support. We are committed to open communication, so please feel free to reach out with any further questions.
I am happy to read this news. I really hope that the project continues and is carried forward. I think it’s a good thing for both VLS and the ASTAR community that the project has a rebirth and expands to Soneium. I’m curious to see the next updates
According to a post on VLS’s discord by an engineer who left the project at the end of October, it is currently a 3/4 multisig with Takakoji, Hayatti, and two former VLS team engineers.
It is thought that all of Takakoji, Hayatti and the engineers were able to operate independently 17 days ago.
If you are going to take over the VLS project, you will have to take over everything, including the financial and moral responsibilities to the users.
I don’t think it is acceptable to take over only the parts that are convenient for you, and then say that we will not be involved in the parts that you don’t want to take over because the old project is responsible for them.
@pnizo I understand your concerns and respect your passion for protecting the VLS community and stakers. I want to reassure you that our approach is not about convenience or avoiding responsibility but about building a sustainable future for everyone involved.
Taking over the VLS project is a significant commitment, and we are fully embrace the responsibility of addressing both its successes and challenges. This is about collaboration to tackle difficult issues in a way that benefits everyone, honoring both responsibilities.
Currently, I hold the wallet permissions for Dapps Staking.
If this proposal is accepted, the management authority for the Dapps Staking wallet will be decided through discussions with the NEET team.
The ASTR that was sent to CEX at the end of October was given as compensation to members who previously worked at VLS.
Very glad to hear that NEET will helping out vLs. This is a good example for every dApp builders out there.
Also thank you very much to @you425 that representing agents and explaining to whole community in a matter of VLS dispute.
I am heartened to read your strong statement of intent.
However, my concern is not just about protecting VLS users.
I fear that the public image of the Astar community, the Astar chain, and the Soneium chain will be damaged.
It’s great that the NEET project is operating DEX, but if the past project’s misconduct is swept under the rug, it will have a negative impact on NEET and the entire Astar ecosystem.
Why not develop a new one instead of inheriting VLS?
(I remember Hayatti saying somewhere that VLS is a complete fork of PancakeSwap because of security concerns)
There was talk in the past about NEET releasing a DEX, and I think that integrating it into VLS is not a bad move for the community.
However, as has been mentioned in the comments so far, I think it is important to clarify how the management system will be transferred. There are many concerns, such as multisig and SNS accounts.
I find it interesting that an account created less than a week ago is leading the charge to delist the app, especially when OGs and established community members are voicing their support for it. Coincidence? Highly doubtful. Actions like these speak louder than words.
