[Community Council Application – Jorge Sáez]

Hi @tksarah thank you very much for your feedback and your question! :raising_hands:

Sure! I understand your point and am happy to share with you and the community the links to the social media platforms I currently manage and where I have shared content related to Astar Network and Soneium, and to delve a little deeper into my contributions to the ecosystems.

I became active in the Astar and Soneium ecosystems around April. In fact, specifically on April 27th of this year, I presented myself here on the forum with the following proposal: Representing Astar Network & Soneium at Peru Blockchain Conference 2025 - Astar / Astar Initiatives - Astar Forum

The idea was to showcase both ecosystems at the country’s premier blockchain event. In fact, this year’s edition was the largest to date, with over 2,500 attendees and featured projects such as Binance, MEXC, Bitget, Bybit, and other key players in the ecosystem. You can see a brief summary here.

However, considering that it was my first proposal without any previous track record within the Astar and Soneium ecosystems, it is completely normal and understandable that there was a bit of skepticism about it, and in response to the feedback received, I later decided to propose a slightly smaller event such as: Astar and Soneium at Bitcoin Pizza Day in Lima, Peru 2025 - Astar / Astar Initiatives - Astar Forum

This event was smaller compared to the conference, but it was undoubtedly an important event commemorating a global milestone in the crypto world and bringing together the ecosystem’s leading Web3 communities and projects. I had the great pleasure of presenting Astar Network and Soneium. Based on the feedback I received, I decided to hold this event with my own funds, with a later retroactive application based on the results. The event was a resounding success, and the results can be seen here.

Additionally, at this event, I had the opportunity to create a local community with 60+ members on WhatsApp, where I brought together attendees interested in the project.

Currently, the Astar and Soneium channels I manage, which are aimed at the Spanish-speaking public, are:

I originally launched these under a previous handle (AstarNetwork_LA), and had started creating content, in fact I started adding it to the Space Club K.Os monitoring sheet specifically since May 3rd, but due to platform X policies, that account was sadly suspended. I have since relaunched them with a unified and compatible brand across all platforms. This time, ensuring that these accounts comply with the platform’s rules, thus avoiding potential further bans.

Since WhatsApp doesn’t display posted content like Telegram, I’ve made a short screen recording showing the content shared in the community. You can watch it here.

Thanks again for your feedback and for giving me the opportunity to address this point. I firmly believe that transparency and consistency are key to building trust and impact in the community :handshake:
