I’ve replied to you in the proposal.
It’s incorrect (can be perceived as malicious) and I will suggest to the technical committee to cancel it. Your deposit of 1000 ASTR will be slashed.
There’s no other way to remove it. Either we cancel it or it becomes a referendum (which is unacceptable).
Create a preimage to approve your treasury spending request, and then make a new public proposal. The link provided by Gaius_sama above show this for a past proposal.
Your request id is 6.
No, proposal cannot be cancelled once it’s made & refunds aren’t possible.
Only when the proposal is upgraded to a referendum the deposit(s) are returned.
This is intentional as a spam prevention mechanism.
Cross-chain is one of our objectives regarding the use of our NFTs. We can’t make commitments right now, given the proposal at hand—it would be reckless to think about this and a proprietary marketplace today—but one step at a time, we are technically capable of doing everything
Speaking of these new standards, we’ve already mentioned multiple times that we’ve enabled ERC 7590 on Moonbeam, and it will also be feasible on Astar for token swapping on NFTs. So, consider the game as a potential place for swapping memecoins, various projects that have useful tokens, and so on.
The team will be building smart contracts other projects can leverage off of.
The team are actually underselling themselves in terms of the funding request imo - this proposal is excellent and the team is highly experienced.
I hope everyone who plans on voting raises any questions or concerns they may have if they are planning on voting no.
There is no reason for this proposal not to pass imo - the future is bright for Astar - lets foster a multichain environment and become the center HUB of excellence for all these chains - we are dominating on Soneium thus far, now let’s open our borders back up to Moonbeam and Polkdadot.
We don’t even have to do anything but say YES and just give them the opportunity to deliver.
Yes but this is the proposal for council right?
So what I need to do now? create a new one in public section? in this case can you send me how to set preimage?
It’s not proposal for the council, they said they won’t approve it.
You need to create a new public proposal with the correct preimage (see the one from the image).
Now, you just need to submit the public proposal to initiate the on-chain vote.
No need to create a new preimage — just use the one you’ve already submitted by selecting the “I already have a preimage” option.
Here’s how:
Go to the Democracy > Public Proposals > New Proposal section on Subsquare
To ensure we stay organized, please publish your UGC application in the “Governance” and “dApp Staking Application” categories using the following naming format: “Project Name - UGC Application Proposal.”
To standardize the application process and keep all related information in one place, we require you to submit a complete application form. You can refer to other UGC applications, such as Neemo or NFT Bridge, to ensure that your application request is thorough.
Your proposal should become a referendum on 26th (or 27th) of May.
Keep in mind though, that you have no backing for your proposal at the moment.
If another public proposal comes, and it has higher backing than yours does, it will be upgraded to a referendum instead.
You can ask community members who support you to second the proposal.
It’s explained in the docs & governance user guide.
we are very sorry to see this. We are trying to create something useful. This is one of the reasons why we turned to the council, unfortunately it is difficult for the community to be interested in voting. Let’s hope for the best.
There’s no reason to feel discouraged, that’s how decentralized governance works. Community support (in this case, seconds) is needed to execute on-chain actions, especially when it comes to financial requests from other community members, like yours.
What I can recommend is to encourage people to vote, here, on Discord, in our Telegram groups, and elsewhere. There are definitely people who will listen and take interest in your proposal.
