I’m not sure you understand, I ask you again to please read the documentation I’ve linked before.
You don’t need community to vote, you can second your own proposal.
And given this proposal isn’t malicious from the technical perspective, it won’t be slashed.
So go to the Subsquare, and use your ASTR to increase the chance of your proposal being upgrade to a referendum. Once the upgrade happens, you get all of the ASTR back anyways.
Once the referendum starts, then people can properly vote.
If, as you suggest, people won’t be interested in voting, then you can vote for yourself and have the referendum pass easily.
We understand that you’ve had differences with the project and its team, and it’s totally valid to express concerns or disagreements. That’s what community governance is all about.
That said, we kindly remind you to keep the conversation respectful and constructive, in line with our Community Guidelines. We’re all here to build a positive and organic ecosystem together, even when opinions differ.
Let’s focus on ideas, not individuals, your voice matters, and keeping things civil helps everyone be heard more clearly.
Thanks for being part of the discussion and for helping us grow together!
Just like with @sfyscam, I need to give you a gentle reminder. Please make sure to respect our community rules and keep the conversation focused on your proposal and the topic of this thread.
Thank you very much! Let’s continue building a positive and thriving environment together.
Hi @SFY_Labs , please understand that probably I am one of the community members not directly and fully following your development on Moonbeam, and what is the current development phase. So perhaps for those who would like to catchup from this moment for the discussion above, as there are close to 80 messages, would you be able to provide some feedback for the following points?
When accessing the AoC page now and clicking the ‘Join the rebellion now’, then I see the two messages: minting is possible, the game is coming soon. If I am not mistaken, the game on Moonbeam is also not yet fully deployed. Would you be able to share what brings you to Astar network again and build AoC also on Astar EVM and the current development status on Moonbeam? If you have already responded such a request, sharing the link should be sufficient.
If mistaken, then please accept my apologies not to perform due diligence properly. If live, then would you be able to share any metrics, including DAU or so? If so, it would certainly help community members understand and have some expectations when AoC is also deployed on Astar EVM.
I see your Medium having a total of two articles, and two of them are all for AoC, one written in 2023, and the other written in 2024. I do not think your Medium was the main distribution and communication channel. Is X the main channel or do you have other channels for update as well as community engagement?
If assume AoC development is finally completed and successfully deployed on Astar, then what numbers would you expect for AoC? It can be high level numbers for, for example, DAU in short-term, mid-term, and long-term.
Any benchmark games or competitors (not sure I should call competitors) for AoC? What would be the uniqueness for AoC so gamers really want to play?
If anything is unclear, please feel free to let me know.
I’ll answer you simply, MVP was online until last week, now we are finalizing the release, because we will be out in a few days, so we are testing the official build, we have disabled mvp. but players have been able to play and mint in the beautiful first level for months. In a few days we will be online with the full game! x is the communication channel yes! as said, all references are to Evrloot! with the 3d variant that could generate interest and different future scenarios. Evrloot started years before, it is a ready and more managerial game. we have worked a lot on the first person interaction instead, while always using the RMrk protocol like them.
hello guys, we wanted to ask the community and those who think our proposal is valid to vote on subsquare and give us a help in activating the process. Currently we do not have the balance to do it ourselves, so if anyone can help us we are grateful. If anyone has other questions about the Grant, we remain available, let’s make AoC available on Astar as soon as possible! thanks
Get ready, for anyone who wants to test the Aoc saga on Moonbeam network, in a few hours we will be online. Fans of games like Legend Of Grimrock will be happy with this game.
Free for everyone, the same thing we intend to do on astar if our grant and UCG are approved, in the next posts we will make a summary of all the onchain transactions that occur when you play AoC in order to also answer mathematically to all those who ask us “average estimate of transactions you expect”.
If the community follows us, and I don’t see why they shouldn’t since it’s all essentially free, indeed with ucg approved we intend to give everything for free and exclude the cents of fee that currently exist on moonbeam, we can guarantee entertainment and real use of technology also on astar!
Hey,
we do not agree. Our proposal is complex, it requires commitment and work much more expensive than what is requested in economic terms. The commitment must be made in both directions. Do you notice other posts of a real proposal besides ours currently on Astar L1? Is anyone following the line you suggested to us? No. Devs are all silent, the rewards arrive anyway. We have proposed and quantified, is it a technically feasible measure? Yes. Now it is also time for the community to take responsibility for deciding the direction to take. Do not think of our words as offensive, but in the light of what we have proposed and above all of the current situation on this network. Furthermore, we do not ask for anything in advance, the milestones exist for this, we will not receive a single cent without having reached the set goal. Quantifying and reaching interaction and community goals before having a defined product goes completely against the concept of grant that we have requested. It would also be acceptable to modify milestones and insert onchain metric goals, but always reasonably to the amount funded in that milestone. But doing what you say, excuse me, is nonsense. After all that has been discussed, it seems like a simple way to make things difficult. Remember who you have funded and for what amounts in the last two years. What exactly do you have to lose with our proposal? give us a list of points and associate the requested amount. I think we can also do a reverse analysis, what do you say?
Well it was just a personal opinion, it is not a setback, but rather it shows what is desired from one side or the other, that the community is the last to speak, good luck.
Yes, we agree on the community. Remember that months ago on astar there was the game with the most transactions of the entire polkadot ecosystem (that’s what was said). We know where they came from and how the game was produced. Should we do the same? It’s right that everyone shares their ideas, but that they are proactive, not a brake on something that at the moment is already precarious in itself. How can you ask for the active community on the game first when the entire astar ecosystem is struggling to have its own active community today? We can also all continue on the current path and wait for things to change by themselves. In the meantime, we propose something and we do it in the worst economic period of all. Not accepting our proposal would only demonstrate an obstructive attitude that would bring no benefits to anyone. Accepting it instead could be the starting point for many to change the way of developing and creating value on the network. They were funded for a little less than what we ask, community events attended by a few dozen people, single evenings that for goodness sake still brought visibility to the project, I don’t think anyone asked in advance to demonstrate how many people would participate in the event. We are not angry with your response, but it shows skepticism after my team developed a detailed and transparent technical and strategic debate. Thanks anyway for your interaction
@SFY_Labs
Since the referendum has started, you should ask your supporters to vote for you.
About the game launch, I’ve tried opening the https://ageofchronos.com/ page and get an 500 Internal Server Error. It would be beneficial for people to try out what you’ve built so far before they vote .
Thanks, we are also waiting for your feeds. We hope people appreciate the free to play idea, and understand that we can only grow from this point. It would be interesting if it were to be approved on astar too, to have more in-depth discussions on the use of current contracts and how we can improve the user experience. To date, for the support received from moonbeam and the result obtained, we are very happy, we could have done something much simpler but for us it was important to create a game that did not only have a token gate but was something more. The onchain level reached by users in AOC can be used at community level for much more.
Actually, it would be more beneficial for you to do this on your own. What I can do is add the link to our whitelist so you can publish it without any issues.
GM guys, we have received a nay vote to our proposal for this:
We also responded and explained that we do not intend to receive the full amount of astar, I do not know if the proposal is badly written or how it should be written honestly, but give us suggestions, if it is well written, please reassure the holder who voted against, if it is badly written and this implies as he states a direct payment of 990k astr immediately, let us know how to modify it. We thought that after having discussed it extensively and defined the milestones everything was clear.
We have never requested funds without verification, indeed we are also ready to sign a binding legal contract based precisely on the milestones, as we did with moonebam, without reaching them you cannot be paid. We are waiting for clarifying answers from someone, thanks @Gaius_sama@Juminstock@Dino
