Satoshi here, founder of NEET, and I’m applying for the Astar Community Council as a Community Representative.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Founder of NEET: Developed and launched a DEX on the Soneium testnet, as well as an NFT raffles dApp and token bulk sender on both Astar and Astar zkEVM. This hands-on experience with Astar’s ecosystem makes me well-versed in both its technical and community aspects. Additionally, we have more apps in development that will continue to expand NEET’s ecosystem on Astar.

• Ecosystem Growth & Community Engagement: Built NEET on Astar with a focus on Japanese anime culture, creating a platform that integrates community-driven governance and revenue-sharing models. I’m passionate about fostering strong, engaged communities and making sure the growth of the ecosystem remains sustainable and inclusive.

• Governance & Treasury Management: Through NEET, I’ve been directly involved in managing treasury funds, allocating resources towards platform development, and ensuring that the interests of the community are prioritized. This experience aligns closely with the Astar Community Council’s role in treasury management and decentralized decision-making.

• Yoki Origins Campaign & NFT Collection: NEET has been part of the Yoki Origins campaign, helping to drive awareness and adoption. Additionally, we released a unique NFT collection on Astar zkEVM, further demonstrating our commitment to Astar and its ecosystem.

Why I’m a Fit:

  1. Community Focus: I believe a strong, engaged community is at the heart of every successful project. My focus is always on building relationships, fostering collaboration, and ensuring inclusive participation in governance decisions.

  2. Technical Expertise: Having developed tools on Astar and zkEVM, I bring a critical perspective essential for Astar’s growth. I understand the intricacies of dApp staking, grant programs, and ecosystem development, which positions me to prevent any projects from abusing the system or mismanaging funds. I will ensure that only projects that genuinely contribute to Astar’s vision and community receive support, keeping the ecosystem healthy and aligned with its values.

  3. Vision for the Future: If elected, I will advocate for improvements to the dApp staking process, and ensure transparent management of the community treasury to support long-term ecosystem sustainability.

I am ready to dedicate the necessary hours each week to Astar’s governance and am fully committed to being an active, responsible representative for the community.

Regarding potential conflicts of interest: I can assure you that my focus is entirely on fostering the growth and sustainability of the Astar ecosystem. While I am the founder of NEET, my work within NEET aligns closely with Astar’s mission of community-driven governance and ecosystem development. My participation in the Community Council would not present any conflicts, as my commitment is to act impartially and prioritize the broader community’s interests over individual projects.

Transparency and accountability are core values to me, and I’m always open to addressing any concerns that might arise during my term.

Community users or builders can apply for community representative positions.
