SoneVibe Finances - dApp Staking Application

Dear Astar Community and CommunityCouncil.

Hello everyone! I am Amil (@Amil_Gaoul ), founder and lead developer of SoneVibe Finances. We are excited to formally apply for inclusion in Astar dApp Staking via the Community Council path (Option A).

Project Overview
SoneVibe Finances is a sustainable decentralized money market protocol offering lending/borrowing and swapping, with a focus on real yield and long-term ecosystem growth. Deployed natively on Astar EVM (Polkadot parachain L1) and Soneium (Sony-backed OP Stack L2), we bridge Polkadot assets to consumer-focused chains while keeping ASTR as our core asset.

Key features:

  • Lending markets with resilient oracles (enhanced V_Master contract solves edge cases like price=0 shutdowns, improving on protocols like Venus).
  • Seamless swaps with active pairs.
  • Native overcollateralized stablecoin SVUSD (inspired by Hollar/Aave GHO, backed by ASTR, USDSC, USDC, and cross-chain assets).
  • Peg Stability Module (PSM) and facilitator mechanics for stability.
  • Perpetual deflationary mechanisms (example, treasury fee burns into ASTR).
  • Hard-capped $VIBE token (1M max supply) distributing real yield from protocol revenue.

ASTR Token Utility and Ecosystem Contribution
ASTR is central to SoneVibe:

  • Core collateral and borrowable asset in lending markets on both chains Astar EVM and Soneium.

  • Primary trading pair: ASTR/USDC on Soneium, WASTR/DOT on Astar EVM (active arbitrage-driven volume).

  • Overcollateralization for SVUSD, driving locked ASTR value.

  • Planned: Add ASTR/SVUSD liquidity + new pairs (ASTR/ETH, etc.) to boost ASTR as fee/bridge asset.
  • Cross-chain vision: Leverage Chainlink CCIP and Nexus for seamless Polkadot to Astar EVM to Soneium flows, positioning ASTR as the hub token for consumer DeFi (gaming, social, entertainment via Sony ecosystem).

As a multi-chain protocol rooted in Astar, we drive meaningful ASTR demand, liquidity depth on Astar EVM, and exposure to Soneium’s mass-adoption potential - aligning perfectly with Astar’s evolution.

Current On-Chain Metrics and Organic Growth
Despite minimal marketing and early-stage launch:

  • Consistent daily transactions (approx 30 tx/day on ASTR/USDC pairs with less than $200 initial liquidity - visible on Dexscreener).
  • Organic activity on WASTR/DOT (Astar EVM) from arbitrage.
  • Recent SVUSD launch planned to generate cross-chain interactions (without incentives yet).
  • All growth product-led: Real users supplying, borrowing, and swapping based on utility.

Previous community feedback thread (24 replies, positive input): Comunity feedbacks about VIBE Money Market on Soneium & Dapps-staking application

Community and Transparency
We prioritize transparent, on-chain-first engagement:

  • Active discussions on this forum (responsive to all feedback).
  • Regular updates on X @Sonevibe).
  • Verified contracts and direct developer access for questions.
  • Our growth is driven by product adoption and ecosystem contributions, fostering organic community through real utility rather than hype.

Plans for dApp Staking Rewards
If approved, rewards will be fully reinvested into ecosystem growth:

  1. Continuously add liquidity to core pools: ASTR/DOT (Astar EVM) and ASTR/USDC (Soneium).
  2. Create new ASTR-centric pairs across chains (example, ASTR/ETH) to enhance liquidity and burn activity.
  3. Accelerate Nexus bridge integration using ASTR as fee asset for sophisticated cross-chain lending/swaps.
  4. Expand to Astar WASM and explore AI-enhanced features (example, automated position management).
  5. Potential: Burn a percentage of treasury fees (swapped to ASTR) perpetually.

This creates a flywheel: More staking to deeper liquidity to higher TVL/volume to stronger ASTR utility.

Conclusion
SoneVibe is committed long-term to Astar as our foundational chain. With resilient tech, organic traction, and a clear roadmap boosting ASTR across Polkadot and Soneium, we believe we add significant value to dApp Staking.

We kindly request @Community_Council to review this application. Happy to answer any questions during the discussion period!

Thank you for your support. let’s build the Golden Age of Astar together!

Best..

Thanks for the proposal, Amil. This is well thought out and clearly positions ASTR as a productive, value-accruing asset (collateral, stablecoin backing, liquidity, and fee burns), which is exactly what dApp Staking should support.

The organic usage before incentives and the dual Astar EVM + Soneium deployment are strong signals. If SVUSD risk controls and liquidation mechanics scale cleanly, SoneVibe can become a meaningful DeFi primitive within Astar’s evolving financial stack.

Looking forward to the Council’s review.

Thank you for your feedback and suggestions. Borrowing and lending protocols are at the heart of decentralized finance. I have some questions below, and I hope you will answer them sincerely:

  • Can a user pledge their ASTR token as collateral on Astar Substrate (Polkadot-Wasm chain) and borrow any token from Astar EVM (or Soneium)?

Bayblon-style projects can perform such transactions. Thanks to the Morpho infrastructure, users can pledge their BTC on the Bitcoin network as collateral and borrow USDC via Ethereum.

If you offer such a product, many people will not want to deal with bridging and will prefer your protocol directly. This is because the product saves the user time, prevents them from dealing with bridging costs, and offers the opportunity to take advantage of instant opportunities that may arise on other chains.

Thank you for your insightful question and for highlighting the importance of seamless cross-chain borrowing/lending in DeFi. I completely agree that protocols like Babylon (which enables native BTC staking on Bitcoin L1 to secure PoS chains and integrate with lending platforms like Morpho for borrowing stablecoins on Ethereum without traditional wrapping or high-cost bridges) set a high bar for user convenience, cost efficiency, and opportunity capture. By avoiding unnecessary bridging hops, these designs minimize latency, gas fees, and slippage, making DeFi more accessible and composable. It’s a model we admire and aim to emulate in SoneVibe Finances, especially given Astar’s unique layered architecture (Substrate/WASM for native assets + EVM for smart contracts).

To answer your question sincerely: Currently, SoneVibe does not yet support direct pledging of ASTR as collateral on Astar Substrate (Polkadot-WASM chain) to borrow tokens from Astar EVM or Soneium without any bridging steps. However, we have a clear technical roadmap to enable this functionality, leveraging Astar’s native XCM (Cross-Consensus Messaging) and XC20 standards for seamless Substrate-EVM interactions, combined with Chainlink CCIP for Soneium bridging. This will allow users to achieve a Babylon-like experience: pledge ASTR natively on Substrate/WASM, and borrow assets (example, USDC, USDSC, or even cross-chain tokens like DOT) on EVM/Soneium layers with minimal friction. Below, I’ll break it down technically, including our current implementation, planned upgrades, and how it addresses the benefits you mentioned.

Current Implementation and Limitations

  • Collateral and Borrowing Mechanics Today: SoneVibe is deployed on Astar EVM (as a parachain L1) and Soneium (OP Stack L2). Users can already pledge ASTR (or WASTR) as collateral in our lending markets to borrow tokens like USDC/USDSC on Soneium or USDT/DOT on Astar EVM. This uses our enhanced V_Master contract, which includes resilient oracles (example, handling edge cases like oracle price=0 shutdowns via fallback mechanisms and multi-source aggregation, improving on Venus-style protocols by adding on-chain circuit breakers).

    • Example flow: A user supplies ASTR on Astar EVM, overcollateralizes (example, 150% ratio), borrows DOT or USDT directly within the same EVM environment.
    • For Soneium: We use Chainlink CCIP for secure asset bridging (example, wrapped ASTR from EVM to Soneium), allowing borrowing of USDC/USDSC against ASTR collateral.
  • Why Not Direct Substrate Integration Yet?:
Astar Substrate (WASM) handles native ASTR assets via the Assets pallet, but our core contracts are EVM-based for composability with DeFi standards (ERC-20/ERC-4626). Direct cross-layer pledging requires XCM to map Substrate assets to EVM (via XC20), which we haven’t fully integrated yet to prioritize launch stability. Users currently need a manual XCM transfer (example, via Astar Portal) from Substrate to EVM before supplying collateral adding a small bridging step (typically less than 1 min, low fees via Astar’s optimized XCM channels).

This setup already sees organic usage (approx 30 tx/day on ASTR/USDC pairs with minimal liquidity ), but we recognize it doesn’t fully eliminate bridging friction, as in your Babylon/Morpho example.

Our team is internally debating this: Planned Technical Implementation for Seamless Cross-Layer/Chain Borrowing
To enable pledging ASTR on Substrate/WASM and borrowing on EVM/Soneium without user-managed bridging, we’re internally debating this topic.

Here’s a technical analysis I built, drawing from Astar’s XCM capabilities and successful cross-chain patterns:

  1. Substrate-to-EVM Mapping via XC20 and XCM:

    • Astar’s XC20 standard allows native Substrate assets (like ASTR in the Assets pallet) to be represented as ERC-20 tokens in EVM without wrapping or trust assumptions. Integrating this into SoneVibe’s lending contracts=

      • User pledges ASTR on Substrate, XCM message (example, Transact or ReserveTransferAssets) automatically maps it to an XC20-equivalent in EVM (example, xcASTR).

      • Our V_Master contract will recognize xcASTR as valid collateral, calculating health factors via Chainlink oracles (aggregated from Polkadot relay chain feeds for accuracy).

      • Borrowing: User can then borrow EVM-native tokens (example, USDT from Asset Hub via XCM) or Soneium assets directly.

    • This mirrors Babylon’s approach: BTC staked natively on Bitcoin L1 is “activated” via PoS signaling (Babylon’s finality gadget) to enable Morpho borrowing on Ethereum. In Astar, XCM acts as the “signaling layer” for trustless asset teleportation.

  2. Extending to Soneium and Beyond with Chainlink CCIP:

    • For borrowing on Soneium (example, USDC against Substrate ASTR collateral): After XC20 mapping to EVM, we’ll use CCIP for secure, decentralized cross-chain messaging. CCIP’s ARM (Active Risk Management) ensures verifiable delivery, preventing reorgs or failures.

      • Flow: Substrate ASTR, XCM to Astar EVM (xcASTR), CCIP bridge to Soneium (wrapped xcASTR), Supply as collateral, Borrow USDC/USDSC.

      • To make it “one-click” (no user bridging): Implement a frontend abstraction or smart contract router that bundles XCM + CCIP calls into a single tx, similar to Morpho’s meta-morpho vaults that abstract chain hops.

    • Future expansions: Integrate with Nexus (Astar’s cross-chain bridge) for broader Polkadot parachain support (example, borrow GLMR from Moonbeam against ASTR), and even external chains like Bitcoin/Ethereum via partnerships (inspired by Babylon’s finality gadget).

  3. Security and Resilience Considerations:

    • Oracles: Our enhanced oracles already handle multi-chain price feeds (example, via Chainlink DONs), ensuring accurate collateral valuation across layers.

    • Liquidation: Use flash loans (EVM-compatible) for efficient cross-layer liquidations, with XCM callbacks for Substrate unwind.

    • Audits: All upgrades will be audited (targeting PeckShield or similar), focusing on XCM edge cases like reserve asset limits.

Alignment with User Benefits You Mentioned

  • No Bridging Hassle: The integrated flow eliminates manual bridges, saving time (tx in less than 30s via XCM) and costs (Astar’s low fees + no external relayers).

  • Instant Opportunities: Users can react to DeFi yields or arbitrage (example, borrow USDC on Soneium for high APY pools) without leaving Astar’s ecosystem.

  • Adoption Driver: As you noted, this makes SoneVibe a “one-stop” protocol, attracting users who avoid multi-hop bridges, potentially increasing ASTR lockup and TVL by 5-10x based on similar integrations in other ecosystems.

We’re committed to this as part of our roadmap, and dApp Staking rewards would accelerate development (example, allocating to liquidity for these cross-layer pairs).

Thank you for sharing your valuable feedback!

Best,
Amil

Thank you, Matt, for your thoughtful feedback and support. it’s incredibly motivating to hear that our positioning of ASTR as a core, value-accruing asset resonates with the vision for dApp Staking. We absolutely agree that fostering productive use cases like collateralization, stablecoin backing, and fee burns is key to Astar’s DeFi maturity.

Regarding SVUSD’s risk controls and liquidation mechanics: We’ve designed them with scalability in mind, drawing from battle-tested models while adding Astar-specific optimizations.

Right now we have started in a very conservative way on Soneium, setting the initial SVUSD borrow cap to only 10k.
We have also settled carefully the risk parameters.

SVUSD has currently two facilitators atm,

1- PSM stabilizer module with usdc backed to stabilize the peg to 1. More markets will be added progressively…

  1. The mintable cSVUSD which has the same high level of security that our extended interest rate cTokens models have. This is the second facilitator and also is fully under the rules of the V_MasterEnhanced contract. So SVUSD is also fully over collateralized by all the markets supported, and all of them( the supported markets)have their own custom risk parameters adding another layer of security.

Additionally, Matt, thank you for mention: The organic usage before incentives and the dual Astar EVM + Soneium deployment are strong signals.

Thank you!

Best,

Amil.

Thank you for all your kind words! It made me very happy to see that we speak the same language, and I am very pleased that we understand each other. Being able to exchange detailed ideas on the subject has once again increased my confidence in the project.

Even though it’s not supported yet, adding functionality similar to Babylon to your roadmap is fantastic. Native-> XCM (Cross-Consensus Messaging) + XC20 standards + Substrate-EVM interactions → Soneium flow is exactly what I wanted to describe;

‘Flow: Substrate ASTR, from XCM to Astar EVM (xcASTR), CCIP bridge to Soneium (wrapped xcASTR), collateral provisioning, USDC/USDSC borrowing.

This type of product, which eliminates the need for third-party trust and the hassle of bridging, has not yet been tested on Astar and is one of the most needed products, and many people will want to experience it in its early stages (personally, I would love to use it a lot).

Previously, I had the opportunity to work with Bayblon officially (I prepared a detailed video about vaults).

Throughout the process, feel free to brainstorm, test products, and ask for help with other issues that require assistance.

thank you! we are really excited with all the possibilities ASTAR bring us. we shall keep Building!

I will use this reply to bring here some update regard something special we are also building since our spirit is also aligned with Sony’s innovation vision , we were remebering that many of us talk so often in increasse ASTAR utility so I was remebering @Matt and @you425 mentioning the importance of increase Astar token utility. So we have decided to also launch aligned with our innovation spirit something special, so…

Do you like the word Rarible? because I miss it.

so we have decided to build SoneVibe Market Place and our Core asset of course is ASTAR, no eth , no btc, only ASTAR :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: !

yes , more utitility for ASTAR. Our first phase is well structured we will start small and gradually expand to RWA and IP listing and so following all regulations and standards. Of course since we love the word burn :heart_on_fire: we will also burn a % of our treasury astr fees from nfts trades, here is a mini draft screenshot

so . the Future is going to be Amazing!

ok: another quick update: we have also updated our front end magic chart in our swap now with the real icons live and some cosmetic details in the display:

ok. thank you so much for your valuable feedback!

we Keep Buiding!

we already support ERC 1155 and ERC 721 , maybe its good for start!, we could maybe partnership with Astar Degens? Who is in charge of Astar Degens on the forum? lets bring them to Soneium and make a multi cross chain nfts between Polkadot ASTAR SONEIUM !

thank you!

That’s a great idea, but with so many features, do you have enough time and a team to handle any issues that might arise? Many similar ideas exist, but they focus on only one or two to optimize time and costs.

Thank you Le Thanh My, you have a really good business vision!.

I have a philosophy I inherit from one of my business mentors

“ what you focus on, it expands “

Laser focus on one thing is key to success.

I am aware that having multiple projects built (Lending/Swap/Marketplace) multi chain (Astar & Soneium, polkadot…) is challenging. But I have one conviction: Someone has to do it! . So I have given my full commitment and involvement to this.

We have the: (we’re hiring) on our X official account: https://x.com/Sonevibe and we will implement the SoneVibe community program (SCP) inspired on Astar’s successful ambassadors program. We will use our SoneVibe swap token Light to reward. I mentioned about LIGHT token on a previous reply to you425 in the other thread on this forum (community feedback SoneVibe)…

Thank you for your valuable feedback!

@MrKarahanli-Emre thank you for mentioning about Astar’s Degen contact. We think we can do great partnership!

Thank you!

Updates:

We have deployed Sonevibe nft Marketplace on Soneium Mainnet! and also incorporated compatibility with the Graph (GRT). our core Asset is ASTR.

we have currently deployed the subgraph and indexed indexed all millions Minato testnet blocks since the creation aprox to be able to see the events:

as you could see in previous pict the nfts are indexed via the graph live on minato. Feel free to play and buy sell list and create your own collections and I will be list if you wish on the testnet.

Regard Soneium Mainnet:below :backhand_index_pointing_down:

as you could see I have listed the Japan Creator collection. Many of us have nfts in our wallets from the Astar zkevm Yoki origin migration to Soneium. so feel free to list and we will buy some. We can also list candy girls collections and all nfts live on Soneium.

as you could see in the picture: Soneium is Still scynizing so I used rpc call to list the first nft until the graph is fully updated maybe tomorrow because I made a typo mistake and set the start block to index since Almost the fisrst block of Soneium near the creation of the chain so we have to index millions of blocks with the graph rn  we’re aprox 20% of all blocks indexed on Soneium mainnet::backhand_index_pointing_down:

I think maybe tomorrow in the afternoon all soneium blocks will be indexed :heart_on_fire:

all this is cosmetic frontend stuff, the smart contracts are build and well placed on chain!

so yes we are live on Soneium and ASTR is the core asset of the marketplace,

I shall burn the (0.1% in ASTR) of all nft treasury revenues we collect from nfts trades on the Marketplace .

we also left a hook open to intergrate with our Lending/ Swap platforms and our marketplace is built fully upgradeable to integrate RWA, being always ASTAR our core asset.

ok. thank you.

we keep Building!

Happy New Year 2026 ASTAR!
