Today commemorates the conclusion of our initial month of development within the ASTAR ecosystem. We have genuinely relished the journey, actively participating in the lively activities unfolding in the ecosystem.

With this release, we introduce Skywallet v1, seamlessly integrating with the ASTAR blockchain. The wallet interface functions as an intuitive and practical means to navigate and engage with brands and IP communities using utility-charged NFTs. In this particular release, we’ve identified several ASTAR NFT communities and augmented their NFTs with exciting utilities.

:rocket: Features

1. Account Activities

:closed_lock_with_key: Custodial Login

  • Create and access an Astar native account through email ID or phone number.
  • Upon the account creation, a public-private key pair is generated and securely stored in an AWS dual-encrypted Hardware Security Module (HSM).
  • Users can set up a wallet by receiving a one-time verification code on their email ID or phone number and configuring a 4-digit PIN for two-factor authentication (2FA).
  • This interface is targetted toward a non-crypto native audience providing a seamless experience for generating and operating wallet key pair.

:globe_with_meridians: Non-Custodial Login

  • Use your existing wallet to connect with Skywallet.
  • Compatible with Metamask, Onekey, sub wallet, mathwallet and other EVM-based wallets.
  • View and engage with all the assets in the original wallet custody without the need to transfer any keys.
  • All signing operations take place within the original wallet.

2. NFTs on Skywallet

  • View NFTs and ASTR token balances across multiple wallet accounts.
  • Effortlessly transfer NFTs and tokens between custodial and non-custodial wallets.

:bulb: Utility Interface

  • Explore utilities associated with the NFTs.
  • Redeem these utilities within the wallet interface.

3. Community Announcements

  • Display the most recent updates and announcements within the Astar ecosystem.

  • Enhance the visibility of current trends within the ecosystem by implementing an infinite scroll feature in the “Trending Now” section.

4. Collections at Launch

We’ve introduced additional NFT utilities to the specified Astar NFT collections from our end. Feel free to explore and engage with these utilities if you possess any of the following NFTs:

I watched the video of Skywallet. It seems to have a very user-friendly UI.
I also think the UX of creating a wallet with an email or phone number is wonderful.
