What are we expecting from ASTAR?

Astar is the go-to blockchain solution for Japanese developers and enterprises, serving as the pivotal gateway for entry into the Japanese market and the exploration of its untapped potential.

Conversely, Metasky’s suite of products and services has established a good presence within the Indian market, captivating brands and communities as they delve into novel opportunities within the realm of blockchain.

Metasky has been proactively cultivating partnerships within the Japanese market, collaborating with notable IP projects such as Tanukiverse, Minato Chan, 0n1Force, WenTokyo, Studio Seven, and Myth Division, among others. Beyond individual entities, our collaboration extends to the Yamanashi region of Japan where we are helping the local government to setup a web3 powered loyalty program around tourism in that region.

In pursuit of further expansion within the Japanese market, Metasky seeks the following support:

• Integration of Astar Chain with Metasky tooling, involving the community treasury staking 2 million ASTR in dApp Staking over a three-month period, commencing from the mutually agreed-upon date and adhering to the established timeline.

• Creation of avenues for business development within the Astar ecosystem and the broader Japanese market.

• Provision of technical guidance and ecosystem assistance during the exploration and development phases.

The milestones and timelines for the integration of the ASTAR Blockchain onto the Metasky platform are listed below.

Nov 2023

Metasky’s team should be able to do the following with the help of APIs/SDKs/library :

1. Create ASTAR accounts via the SDK/APIs offered.
2. Create collections and NFTs.
3. Create a primary marketplace contract and test free/paid purchases via ASTAR tokens.
4. Transfer tokens/NFTs from one ASTAR account to another.

Users should be able to:

1. Login with their phone/email accounts via a verification code and PIN, with an ASTAR account created for them in the backend.
2. Login with a non-custodial wallet by signing on to the ASTAR portal or an ASTAR supported wallet.
3. See and transfer ASTAR coins/native currency from and to Metasky wallet. The transfer can be to another Metasky wallet or a non custodial ASTAR wallet

Users should be able to:

1. Use a FIAT on ramp to recharge their wallet with ASTAR coins/tokens.
2. Purchase NFTs in their Metasky wallet with FIAT and ASTAR coins in their wallet.
3. Buy/sell their NFTs on an external marketplace (like OpenSea) by connecting the wallet to the dApp (via wallet connect)
4. See and track all transactions in the Metasky wallet.

Users (Studio/Club Admins) should be able to:

1. Login to Metasky Studio via their existing Metasky account. If they don’t already have a Metasky account, they can create one on the fly.
2. Create and manage clubs (images/description).
3. View and manage members.
4. Create and import (with validation) ASTAR chain NFT collections and NFT claims/drops. They should also be able to create NFTs within collections by uploading a CSV. They can share the link to Metasky’s wallet to claim/purchase the NFTs created.

Users (Studio/Club Admins) should be able to:

1. Create and manage bounty campaigns on Twitter and Instagram. They should be able to process rewards for their club members in any supported currency (ETH/MATIC/Aptos/Leaderboard Points).
2. View the leaderboard at club level for leaderboard points awarded to club members.
3. Create and manage utilities attached to collections/NFTs based on tier/property types.

Users (Club Members) should be able to:

1. Log in to Metasky Club via their existing Metasky account. They need to be added as a club member in order to do so.
2. Connect/disconnect their social media accounts (Twitter/Instagram/Discord).
3. Participate in bounties (Twitter/Instagram) from within the Metasky club
4. View the status of their bounty rewards, and receive rewards in their Metasky account. The same will be reflected in their Metasky wallet.
5. See the leaderboard on a bounty basis.

The current milestones and timelines are for the development on Astar EVM. We plan to make the product suite available on zkEVM once the mainnet is launched.

• No security audit report is available at the moment. However, we are working with GCP to get a security audit report on our infrastructure and Certik to get audit reports on custom smart contracts
• Our infrastructure supports both custodial and non-custodial flow.
  ** In the non custodial flow, we have integrated most of the known wallets and the key management and signing happens at the original wallet level. Skywallet works like an engagement and utility redemption layer for the assets held in the original wallet.
  ** In the custodial flow, we use a hosted HSM module by AWS with a secure encryption methodology. We plan to move to account abstraction - ERC 4337.

For brands, Metasky Studio focuses on delivering a no-code collection and utility creation flow that mimics a CRM system. The data analytics and visualization tools enable brands to seamlessly run interoperable web3 loyalty programs. Additionally, user-friendly tool tips and live chat support ensure that the learning curve is minimal, typically requiring just 20-30 minutes.

We have recently initiated our expansion into the Japanese market. So far, we have established connections with the following Japanese projects and organizations:

1. Azito, Tanukiverse, and Flower Lolita, which are Japanese NFT projects.
2. Kakurinshoja Corporation in the Minobu region of Yamanashi.

4. Shibuya Startup Community.

At present, we are in advanced discussions with some prominent web2 brands in Japan. However, it would not be appropriate to provide specific comments on these negotiations at this time, as we are still in the process of finalizing the terms and conditions with them. Additionally, we are actively engaged in regional development projects (地方創生) with the local governments of Nagasaki and Yamanashi, which are currently in the planning stages.

1. The integration of Astar chain into the Metasky platform will span across various domains, including but not limited to the establishment of NFT collections, primary and secondary marketplaces, and cryptocurrency holding and acquisition. Metasky will rely on Astar Network as the primary network and Shibuya Network as the test network, with support from a range of technical dependencies like Thirdweb, Ethers, Alchemy, Wallet Connect, OpenZeppelin, and Hardhat. In the initial phase, we will generate H160 compatible keys for custodial logins, ensuring their secure management through an AWS-hosted HSM module with robust encryption methods. Transaction requests will be sent to non-custodial users as necessary.
   Users will be able to claim, create, buy, and transfer NFTs on the Astar EVM, facilitated by the user-friendly interface of the Metasky wallet. User assets will be displayed after retrieving them from Alchemy. Users can also hold, purchase, and transfer Astar EVM coins, with Alchemy indexer and GraphQL data sources used to access user balances and holdings.
   Metasky employs the Ethers library and Thirdweb SDK for managing, signing, and dispatching transactions for non-custodial users. For non-custodial users, the tools used to transmit transactions to their authenticated wallets include Wagmi, Ethers, and Thirdweb. Furthermore, Metasky is actively monitoring the development of Astar zkEVM and will make a decision between Astar Native and zkEVM based on the clarity gained after the mainnet launch.

2. Metasky provides users with a variety of login options, including mobile numbers and email addresses, and it also supports login with non-custodial wallets like MetaMask. When a user signs up via email or phone number, a pair of EVM-compatible public and private keys are generated and assigned to the user within the system. Users cannot directly access the private key, as the key is stored in an encrypted format in a secure and isolated environment. These private keys may be used to sign transactions with the user’s consent and actions.
   Mobile or phone-based logins require a two-step verification process, involving the entry of a one-time password sent to the user’s mobile or email, as well as the input of a user-generated 4-digit PIN. Stringent security measures, including restrictions on the number of invalid login attempts, identification, and blocking of malicious logins, as well as the hashing of the PIN and one-time password, are in place. Users who wish to maintain control over their private keys can opt to log in via MetaMask or another self-custodial wallet, where they can use the wallet in the same manner as any custodial user, facilitated by wallet connect library.

3. At present, our inclination is leaning towards zkEVM. Nevertheless, once the integration with Astar EVM is finalized, we will reassess the choice between Wasm and zkEVM, taking into consideration the level of demand.
