What kind of support are you looking for ? Do you mea visibility in the community ?
Many people know us, we have more than 200 stakers, the new rewards model is simply wrong. Astar team ignored us, unfortunately we are between two tiers where we go from minimal support to 0. Itâs not our fault, but the numbers are not low. We would like to ask for a grant since we report our developments anyway, but given the ranges we donât know how much to ask for.
Letâs put it this way, we would need a quantity of Astar staking that would at least allow us to remain in tier 3, without having to check every day if 1-2 users leave, we donât have time for these gamesâŚ
Hello to the whole Astar community.
The SFY Labs team has been experiencing a major support issue with current DappStaking rewards for over a month. Unfortunately we were unable to receive concrete help and we evaluated other options to be able to develop our Age Of Chronos game.
When we submitted our DappStaking proposal, there were several support terms (which we have been using for a few weeks) that we considered. Considering our small Donkey Gang community and other collections created in the past, DappStaking v2 allowed us to have serious support for our project and was the starting point of our project. With the transition to V3 we perfectly followed all the indications provided by the team and the community, quadrupling the number of stakers and astars in staking. This was not enough to allow us the right development and support for the work we are doing, bringing the rewards to -90% compared to v2.
Our team is made up of 9 people, and the work we are doing deserves much more support, we cannot be subject to the randomness of the levels achieved with the difference of a few Astars.
66 Astar to ERA is really something that doesnât help us pay for anything, and we certainly canât think of basing everything on the future value of Astar as some have suggested.
We have to repay our expenses, day after day.
As mentioned, we based our calculations on v2 and the fact that dapp staking would change was not made clear to us when we submitted our proposal. When we discovered this we worked as best we could to obtain better results but this wasnât enough.
Our team of artists were among the first to have connections with the Astar Team in 2021 and we have always supported the work done, we still believe that the future of this project will be bright and as investors we believe that the team is doing the right thing right choices to achieve this goal.
Unfortunately, as developers, the change in dappstaking has had too negative an impact on our work.
We shared our ideas several times without getting any concrete help.
Currently it has been decided to give greater importance to the burning of Astar tokens instead of supporting teams that are in many cases deserving.
EVOLUTION OF OUR WORK ON AGE OF CHRONOS.
We have currently reached an agreement with the Moonbeam team for financial support to enable the distribution of the game on this network. We made our proposal to the team, we had a phone call with them and there was a lot of interest in supporting our work. The details will be communicated very soon by our team via social channels for all interested parties.
This leads us to reconsider the development parameters as follows:
We decided from day one to include the Saurus Crew (the first collection created on Astar by our team and distributed mostly free to the donkey community) in Age Of Chronos.
We could continue to guarantee it. Users who support our dapp via staking will be able to receive a Saurus at the end of each period which they can use to receive Age Of Chronos and other game items via periodic snapshots.
This would give immediate usefulness to one of our collections on Astar and would rightly make (given the work our team will have to do) our dapp a tier 4 dapp.
In this case, minimal support through a daily tip would be acceptable and sustainable.
If we receive proper support for our game in the future we may consider making the game multi-chain, but we cannot guarantee this TODAY.
Just as the terms of support have changed, we too must adapt with regards to our development, considering that to date we have guaranteed all Age of Chronos stakers a greater value in nfts airdrops than what we have received in compensation in Astar tokens .
This solution allows us to remain with a minimum development adequate for the support received.
This decision is up to the Astar team and the Community, we remain open to a possible development of the game on Astar, but as mentioned we will change our current priorities.
There are many dapps that base their presence on a collection of nfts, airdrops of nfts and in fact on the management of a DAO through them.
We hope this can apply to us too.
Other clarifications:
- Donkey Gang will not migrate to Astar zkevm but will be migrated to Moonbeam, respecting the designed game specifications.
- Everyone who purchased game incubators on Singular will be fully refunded the amount spent on Astar.
-Those who received an Incubator for free, for social activities or as a staking reward in Dappstaking v2, will receive the same Incubator on the Moonbeam network.
We hope that this development solution can be accepted, we want to be transparent with the Astar community and not be a passive dapp, we will develop based on the support received and this will be on Astar as elsewhere.

Real research and development of a web3 game using nfts cannot do without using #RMRK protocol. In recent months we have built based on the protocol rather than on the idea of the final game or simply by emulating things that already exist in web2⌠otherwise where is the innovation? 
The difficulty of development obviously becomes exponential, but so do the possibilities.
