Summary

This proposal is created to delist AcryptoS from the dApp Staking system on Astar Network due to its lack of ongoing contribution to the ecosystem and its failure to promote or bring value to the ASTR token.

Background

AcryptoS was initially approved for dApp Staking based on their proposal outlined in the Astar Forum back in Dec 2022:

The project aimed to be a single-token yield aggregator on Astar and at the time it looked like it did just that as it filled a void. While their intentions aligned with the ecosystem’s goals at the time of listing, their recent activity and contributions no longer meet the expectations of value-driven participation.

AcrytpoS no longer meets the criteria for dApp Staking due to the following reasons:

  1. Minimal Ecosystem Contribution: The project has not actively driven value to the Astar ecosystem or enhanced the utility of the ASTR token.
  2. Stagnant Development: No new features, updates, or significant milestones have been introduced to benefit the community of ASTR holders.
  3. Inactive Engagement: AcryptoS has failed to maintain active engagement or partnerships that positively impact the Astar ecosystem.

To maintain the integrity and effectiveness of the dApp Staking system, it is essential to ensure that only projects with meaningful contributions and active participation are supported.

There is not much else to add, if there are no developments and activities delisting is the best choice. I will support it

Indeed, keeping only active, evolving projects is important for a heallthy ecosystem. This decision seems like the best to me.

Hey everyone.

We sincerely appreciate the support and collaboration we have received from the Astar community in the past. It was a good partnership and we actively supported the chain with AMAs, marketing promos and such.

As our vaults are built on top of lending protocols (in this case Starlay Finance), the overall drop in TVL and yields have made it unsustainable for us to continue deploying vaults.

We understand that it makes sense to delist our dapp as our Astar vaults are already deprecated. We are open to exploring new vaults again when there are strong lending protocols with good TVL and yields.
