Welcome, thanks for the proposal.
It sounds like you already offer the service and various projects are using it, which is great.

Now, about UCG, perhaps there is a misunderstanding.
UCG grants are made through the dApp Staking system. This means that instead of handing over ASTRs as is, you will be rewarded daily by staking ASTRs from the Treasury to the eligible projects. Also, the maximum amount of ASTRs in this case is 17M ASTRs.
For more information, we recommend reading the following document.

The proposal outlines a promising integration of Talentum with Astar’s ecosystem, leveraging blockchain transparency and performance-based marketing. However, more specifics on the anti-fraud mechanisms and sybil attack prevention could strengthen confidence in the solution.

How does Talentum ensure the quality and authenticity of KOLs and their audience to avoid engagement inflation or fraud?

I tried the platform the other night and I think the experience is very user friendly. As mentioned by others there is already a program called UCG where you can apply to be listed and supported with dApp staking. I hope to see the new version of the proposal soon so I can ask a couple of questions that I have in mind

Great project!

I had met them before when I was studying a bit about Metis, as they use you as a platform for metrics management.

I would like to know what the action plan will be specifically for Astar, how will the execution of all this be? Beyond the information you present us in the main post.

On the other hand, we are going through a transition to our on-chain governance, so I recommend you to soak a little bit of the subject.

The projects that promote the networks are very interesting, however, sometimes managing many networks tends to dilute their effectiveness, so in addition to showing their general virtues, I would like to know what specific plans you have for Astar, how would they help its growth in the short and medium term?

They say that 70% will be distributed in rewards, and 20% for development and 10% for campaigns, I think that 10% is empty, since it can be included in the 70%, after all they are campaigns that should be rewarded.

Thank you!

Oh, I see. Thank you for bringing this to my attention!

Is there a grant program for beneficial collaboration between our project and Astar?

Thank you for your question Mark!

  1. To achieve KOL specialization on Talentum, users need to connect their profiles (e.g., X, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) and submit a specialization request. We then manually verify that the content is decent, unique, and that the user has real metrics based on overall activity, such as the number of reactions, likes, comments, etc. It is usually easy to detect fake numbers. In fact, most specialization requests we receive are rejected.

  2. We developed our own Sybil score based on several factors, including:

  • Presence and quantity of tokens across multiple EVM networks
  • Number of NFTs
  • Wallet active days, months, and years
  • Days since the first transaction, first outbound transaction, last outbound transaction, and the duration from the first to the last outbound transaction
  • Number of outbound, inbound, unique, and error transactions
  • Presence of an ENS domain and its expiration
  • Score from the Gitcoin Passport
  • Some additional factors

Each factor contributes a specific weight to the total score. This weighting means that to manipulate the system, a Sybil attacker would need to invest significantly in each account, making such an attempt economically unprofitable.

Thanks for your feedback, VasaKing.
Appreciate it!

Thank you, Juminstock!

Regarding the action plan:
After implementing Astar support on our platform, we will need to hold a meeting (or a series of meetings) to determine the goals for the Astar ecosystem.

Based on these goals, we will create a concise plan with defined metrics for the campaign. If Astar is satisfied with the proposed plan and metrics, we will proceed with creating a campaign to attract users to Astar or its ecosystem projects.

Of course, during the campaign, we will be able to analyze performance and make adjustments as needed.

Thanks for your question, Vangardem!

  1. We are not currently exclusive to any ecosystem, but each campaign on the platform is separate and has its own goals. For example, campaigns may aim to gain on-chain traction, increase game downloads, or reach a certain number of videos about the product. Some projects even use the platform in private mode as a tool for managing tasks for a closed group of ambassadors. Therefore, the specific plans will depend on Astar’s vision and goals.
  2. 70% are rewards are for completing tasks on the platform, while 10% is allocated for external marketing, such as attracting users to the campaign through ads on our partners’ social media. However, these numbers are open to discussion, and the final figures will depend on the defined plan for the campaign.

Currently the only grant program available on Astar is UCG.
However, if the community allows a different type of funding (Grant), it could be adopted.

In other words, I think we can switch this proposal to just being a Grant and not a UCG, and then proceed with the discussion.

@Zakk
Great! I love the idea and it seems to me that we can achieve great things together.

What’s not clear to me is why apply for UCG then? Isn’t it better to simply propose a partnership with Astar and have the community evaluate it?

Thank you, Juminstock!

It seems I misunderstood the concept of UCG
Is it possible to change the current topic, or do I need to create a new one?

UCG (Unstoppable Community Grant) is more a support to new projects that need funding to be formed and to be able to release a usable product in the Astar ecosystem.

A clear example of this is Neemo Finance, which is already a self-sustaining and very capable project.

You could continue with your current proposal, however we have a limited capacity of program slots, so we could evaluate and accept or deny as a community.

Since our on-chain treasury is up and running, I would recommend you to propose a partnership for 2-3 months and show results. This is just my opinion

Thank you for the proposal. The project looks very interesting. If I may, I’d like to ask a few additional questions:

  1. While the numbers are quite impressive, what about the user response? Both in terms of feedback and various statistics?

  2. What are the project’s sources of revenue and expenses?

  3. What’s the situation regarding both direct and indirect competitors?

Actually I think it can go for a Governance Treasury proposal , Cause You are not applying to UCG and it’s more focused on partnership instead of listing on dApp staking. I might still suggest to check the UCG program because You can benefit from it as well , instead of using 70% of funds You can use the generated rewards for giveaways, campaigns wirh Astar partners and most importantly to sustain the development of Talentum :star2: @Zakk
