This event took place on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Ricardo Palma University.
Astar Network’s participation in this University Conference was undoubtedly a key opportunity to further strengthen our presence in the Web3 ecosystem in both Peru and Latin America, and to continue consolidating Astar, along with Soneium, as one of the most innovative and builder-friendly networks in the region.

This event became the central hub for Web3 in Peru this past quarter. Most of Peru’s Web3 communities joined, along with some of the leading communities in Latin America, for a total of 13 Allied Communities.

The event featured 4 truly valuable Community Panels, where each community presented on a specific topic, sharing valuable and educational information, experiences, and advice with the attendees.

At this event, I had the great pleasure of giving this motivational talk, aimed at encouraging attendees to take the plunge, overcome their fears, and embrace building in Web3, shaping their ideas and projects, and utilizing the tools the ecosystem offers. As the talk was sponsored by Astar, I provided an introductory overview of the project, its global reach, our local and regional initiatives, our Streams program, and, of course, invited them to delve deeper into the protocols and join our communities.

Following my talk, I held a community session with questions related to the topics discussed and interaction with our WhatsApp community, where I gave away 2 merch kits (the same ones offered in the Streams program) and 2 branded t-shirts.

The budget includes a 26% buffer to cover price fluctuations:
- EMA 30: $0.0145
- Daily Price: $0.0135
- Current loss in value between both prices: 7%
- Buffer: 22% (7% of the current difference in value + an additional 15% to cover the expected future fluctuation in 1-2 weeks)
The event was executed retroactively, with the intention of demonstrating, through concrete and real results, the reach and participation, all aligned with the mission of strengthening the Web3 ecosystem in Peru and connecting new audiences with the Astar Network and Soneium ecosystems.
The budget was optimized to ensure maximum impact at the lowest possible cost, while maintaining quality in materials, brand presence, and overall production.

Our community grew by more than 100%, going from 62 members to 152 members.
We now have a slightly larger and stronger community with 150+ members. 
The main challenge now is to continue developing initiatives to make them active members, so they can engage with the ecosystems and continue driving their growth.
