Personally, I think it is interesting to proceed with this. However, the budget used and the expected results from doing this, if we can optimize it more, it might be a good thing.

Because doing a campaign, using incentives to attract people is something that I am interested in, but in the long term, it might be a lot of cost. So, I would like to ask for your help to consider this angle further. But in any case, I fully support this.

I fully understand your position and as you say, always attracting new users through incentives, is something that in the long term may not be convenient.

However, in this case we are talking about a hackathon, so yes it is important to incentivize builders in this way. When making the budget, I have quoted the best possible prices on the market (this with respect to merch and spaces) so the due optimization has already been done. Anyway, any money left over will be strictly returned to the treasury :grin:.

I am very sure that soon we will see interesting projects here at Astar coming out of Latin America, that is the main objective, to increase adoption :muscle:t3:.

To be honest, Iā€™m disagree with the amount of the budget. But you are right hackaton is about prize and after you elaborate to split the rewards (post zkevm launch) Iā€™m more comfident.

However Iā€™m still reluctantly agree with the amount numbers. Yet , I vote yes to support this proposal. But please give detailed reports after the event :pray:.

Ongoing event report!

  1. I have already transferred the payment for the booth and logistical support to the organizers. It was made in USDT to avoid price fluctuation.

  1. I am already making the quotes for the merchandise and the t-shirts to send them to production as soon as possible.

  2. I will buy the plane tickets today to have everything ready in a timely manner.

Ongoing event report!

  1. I have already bought my plane tickets, I will attend a few days before the event to organize the spaces, pick up the merchandise and give some workshops prior to the side events.

To the currency exchange rate on the day of purchase:
3,743 COP = 1 USD, the total amount was 2,446,030 COP / 3743 COP = 653.49 USD.

  1. On the other hand, I have already received the final quotations from the merchant. Today I will be making the payment so that the suppliers start producing them and I can have them before time :D. IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT THE MERCH! I made the decision not to make cardboard boxes and send to produce more stickers and t-shirts, because the boxes were expensive.

I just filled out the google form.
I hope I can do something without messing around with the translator.
The polkadot forum executed me without asking me what language I wanted the parachute in and if I wanted to collect the sandwich and coffee maker from the equipment carrier before the execution.
