Yeah, this event is relatively small compared to the Peru Blockchain Conference, but it’s an international event. As you mentioned that I consider Astar’s participation important to introduce you to the Web3 communities, build a community, attract new talent to the project, and connect with key leaders in the sector. Regarding Astar’s presence here in Peru, there’s no problem because, as I’ve previously indicated and supported, and as described in the proposal, I’m an active member of the ecosystem and have successfully hosted events of various sizes, so everything will undoubtedly go well
Sure, no problem with that, in fact it’s something I’ve been thinking about raising due to the proximity of the event and I plan to do it that way, retroactively, in fact I already have everything organized, I will present Astar at the event as I have indicated in the proposal on my own and then I will update the post with the report of the results, to later upload a proposal and give enough time for the other members of the community to have enough time to see the results.
The proposals I’ve made are to present Astar at two different events, of different scales and high impact, each detailed in its respective proposals. The idea is precisely to generate feedback and for everyone to comment, suggest, and evaluate whether or not these events are feasible, so that the initiatives align with the project’s vision and generate a real and lasting impact.
Sure, count on that, and sorry for the delay in responding. Thank you very much again for your support, I think we can develop some really great initiatives for Astar
Hi @you425 Sorry for the delay in responding and thank you very much for all the valuable comments.
I understand your points and I agree to do it this way, I have no problem with that, the event is already organized and tomorrow the announcements of Astar’s participation as a sponsor of this event will be made, after the event ends and I have the audiovisual material prepared, I will update this post with the results obtained, thank you very much for your support
Hi everyone, as an update on this event, the respective announcements were made yesterday by my local Astar accounts and by the Organizing and Allied Communities, indicating Astar’s participation as the Official Sponsor of this event!
Tomorrow I will be introducing Astar to the main communities of the local ecosystem at Bitcoin Pizzaday Lima.

Hi @Juminstock I think I was automatically banned by the bot from the Space-hub server on Discord when I shared the link to this post. Could you please check when you have time? My Discord username is cjorgesaez. Thanks in advance
Thank you for the event progress update! Even just the short video already looks interesting and fun. Really appreciate you organizing such a great event like this — thank you so much! =)
Final Report — Astar Network’s Participation in Bitcoin Pizza Day Lima 2025.
Hi everyone, as promised, here is the final report of the event!
On May 22, 2025,Bitcoin Pizza Day Lima 2025 took place, an event that is part of the international celebration of Global Pizza Party 2025. At this event, I had the pleasure of including Astar Network as an Official Sponsor and presenting it to key Web3 leaders and communities in the local ecosystem.
You can see the official announcements here:
It was a truly extraordinary experience, marking a milestone in our presence in the Web3 ecosystem in Peru and Latin America.
The event was truly incredible. It was organized by PizzaDAO, Marketing Community, and CryptMorfosis. It had a high attendance rate and was even completely sold out before the event. With over 100 people gathered in Miraflores, and over 300 registrations, the event was filled with a tremendous community energy that exceeded all expectations, making this a night full of Web3, networking, and of course, pizza!
During the event, I had the opportunity to connect with developers, students, educators, artists, Web3 project and community leaders, as well as crypto enthusiasts, introducing Astar and its efforts to drive real-world Web3 adoption.
Many people showed great interest in learning more about how to build on our network, especially learning about our connection with Soneium (Sony) and our focus on practical use cases.
During the event and as part of the community activation, I held a raffle where I distributed $50 in ASTR to 5 lucky winners who each received $10 in ASTR.
Here you can see some testimonials and a brief summary of the presentation about Astar:
After the event, on Friday, May 30th, our participation expanded regionally thanks to our participation in the Space organized by Marketing Community, where we discussed the impact and purpose of initiatives like Pizza Day and how they can become a real gateway to the Web3 world.
This event not only left a lasting impression on those who attended in person, but also expanded the digital conversation, enabling the creation of a local community with more than 60 members, as well as the creation of local channels where all official information is shared in the local language. It also allowed for the creation of new alliances in the region with some of the main Web3 communities and initiatives.
Based on the valuable feedback received from the Astar community on this proposal, I held this event retroactively. Since I was responsible for the costs, I had to reduce the merchandise slightly, leaving only 1 banner and 100 brochures, plus the live raffle.

Thank you!
Looking at the materials you submitted, it seems that the event was a success. I don’t think there will be any problems with the budget.
How was the response?
Congratulations on all the amazing work you’ve done and the detailed report you shared — great job! It’s awesome to see more and more physical & digital events where people are introduced to Astar, learn how to interact with it, build on it, and so on. Really impressive work, guys — well done!
Also, the raffle idea with 5 prizes of $10 in ASTR for the winners is cool as always!
Yeah, the response was very positive, It included participation from a variety of people, including project and web3 community leaders, builders, and ecosystem enthusiasts.
Thank you @you425 I think I might need @Juminstock 's help for future steps.
Without a doubt, the response was quite positive for Astar. It was very well received, to be honest. Many were impressed that SONY, a company recognized especially in the entertainment sector, was developing Blockchain initiatives, and they thought it was great to know that Astar was partnering with SONY in these developments through Soneium.
This positive response has allowed us to now have a community of 60+ members on WhatsApp, including 10+ builders who expressed their interest in creating and participating in the ecosystem, whether at the development or community level. They really liked the project
About this, before creating the account, I did a search to avoid duplicating any existing accounts, but I didn’t find any. I saw some accounts in other languages, but none in Spanish. Most of the posts in Spanish are made from personal accounts. For this reason, I created this account, where I keep the community updated by publishing and translating all official content into the local language.
Again, thank you so much for all your valuable comments and support!
Hi @SimonB Thank you so much for your feedback, kind words and support, I really appreciate it!
Yeah, the goal was to make Astar feel present, accessible, and exciting for everyone at the event, and I’m actually quite happy with the connection that was achieved both during the event and through the content afterward
Yeah, people loved it! this allowed for a really exciting atmosphere to be created at the event
Here you can see part of the live draw in a story shared by one of the winners:
@CJorgeSaez We truly appreciate your enthusiasm and your excellent event execution. I can definitely see that the impact achieved in relation to the budget exceeded expectations, it was a great idea on your part to involve Astar and Soneium in an event that draws so many people. Congratulations!
Let me know if you need my support with any next steps regarding this proposal, I’ll be happy to help. You can message me on Telegram so I can assist you further.
Thank you @you425, it’s true, we previously had a Spanish-language X account for Astar, led by Ercab, a former ambassador who’s no longer active. That account hasn’t been used since, and I think it’s great that you guys created a new one to start generating content in Spanish.
Just one suggestion: it would be great if the account was regional, for example, Astar Perú instead of Astar LA, since in the future I plan to bring in more LATAM communities to this initiative. But no worries, you can continue operating it that way if that’s what you’ve planned, after all, this is a community-driven initiative.
Congrats again, Jorge, let’s keep expanding Astar and Soneium!
